DON'T FORGET!!

Central Music is happy to announce a Workshop for Organists at 10:30AM
on Saturday, August 22nd, and a concert on Sunday, August 23rd at 4:00p.

The workshop and concert
will be led by Max Tenney.
They will both be held
in our sanctuary
on our brand new Organ!
A Note of Thanks from Gina McNeil. . .

A deep word of thanks to the volunteers at SPARK and to all who have given in some way to the camp this summer. Students ate well, played well (Toilet Bowl Cleaner Hockey was once again the favored game!) and read a lot!
Some learned to make videos/comics on the computer, some connected what they read to the world around them, some refined their summarization skills, some received needed school supplies, and many made new friends. Each received their own "spark" to get the school year going in the right direction! Again, much gratitude to those who have used their gifts to bless others through this community partnership.

Men's Dinner and Program
Tuesday, September 1st, 6:30p
Our very own Troop 210 Eagle Scout, Brother Scott Flemming will be communicating about the BSA affiliated religious program from P.R.A.Y., for Protestants.  If you ever wondered how fellow Scouts and Scouters are awarded the Cross and Flame or the Scouter Religious Knots, this is will also be discussed.

Dinner cost is $8.00.
The Mission of UMM is To Help Men Grow In Christ, So Others May Know Christ.
Electrical Upgrades
Behind the scenes, the Trustees have been working to improve the electrical system in our Sanctuary. The goal is to improve the electrical system before we make upgrades or additions to our Sanctuary technology. The next items to be addressed will be (1) choir loft lighting, (2) putting the two rear ceiling lights on a separate control switch and (3) fixing the TV connection. An electrician has inspected our entire Sanctuary - with special attention to the console and sound board. These improvements and upgrades are being funded from the special offering that was taken at Easter.
