The Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair (LAEEF) is a celebration of environmental science resources and service learning. Students from schools around Los Angeles County share their success with local service learning projects. Environmental Education resource providers provide hands-on experiences for attendees and showcase the resources they provide.

The 2016 conference will bring together educators (Kindergarten through higher education), community activists and students interested in sharing curricula that integrate or investigate the intersections of environmental education and social justice. The day will include interactive workshops and demonstrations.

Spend an evening around the campfire with neighbors, friends, and family. It will be an entertaining night with campfire songs, marshmallow roasting, and a nature program! 1.5 hours.

This professional development experience will focus on forest and water research involving rainfall data, water use by plants, fire ecology, long-term bird surveys and GIS mapping, while gaining a greater understanding of issues surrounding the wildland-urban interface and the Project WET & Project Learning Tree activities that will help bring the knowledge back into the classroom!

Schedule Your School Assembly.
Now with Carbon Offsets!
Your school, by scheduling this assembly for your students, will help fight Climate Change! A-Team For Wildlife will purchase 2 tons worth of carbon offsets on behalf of every school that books our "Saving Endangered Species" school assembly presentation. A framed certificate will be provided each school stating their contribution to a reduced-carbon footprint for their school. This is one more way we can act as partners to help fight Climate Change and Species Extinction. The "carbon dollars" will be donated to a separate non-profit, scientists-lead, forest-restoration organization that favors carbon dioxide-absorbing forest projects associated with "biodiversity hotspots" so as to simultaneously support both forests and endangered species. The best carbon offset organization that offers this service - and our choice - is Saving Species, headed by world-renowned, Dr. Stuart Pimm. Henceforth, A-Team For Wildlife will lead the way while motivating schools to start their own carbon offset programs for reduced climate change and species extinction towards a more carbon footprint-free future.
