A Blueprint for Environmental Literacy
This fall, the California Department of Education released " A Blueprint for Environmental Literacy." The Blueprint makes the case for ensuring that each of California's 6.4+ million students becomes environmentally literate and outlines six key strategies to provide access and equity to a high quality environmental education across the state.
Join CREEC Region 4 and ChangeScale on December 3, 2015 to learn more about the Blueprint from local members of the statewide Environmental Literacy Task Force that helped draft the plan.

Students, teachers, or youth mentors, do you know a youth leader working to make this a better world? Share your work at the 3rd annual YES Conference on 1/30/2016

Students from all around the world in 6th-12th grades are invited to submit a short ocean related film, 5 minutes or less into the festival. Submission is FREE! The top films will be screened at the festival. Winning films will be awarded up to $500 in cash. Deadline to submit films is January 11th, 2016
