36th Annual Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair
The Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair is a fun and festive celebration of environmental education resources, opportunities, and success. Students from all over Los Angeles County will share their service learning and environmental education projects. Nature Centers, Environmental Education Providers, and both public and private stakeholder partners showcase their work and resources. Entertainment and workshops are all open to the public....Over 30 exhibitors and experts will be attending. Fun for all ages and will include animals, garden exploration, interactive activities, etc. for everyone to enjoy.

Fantastic workshops like Smart Gardening's Composting Workshop or the Teacher Professional Development Workshop presented by TreePeople and Generation Earth
Nature passports to collect stamps by completing the various hands-on science and nature activities presented by Arcadia High School
Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots' annual Celebration of Service where you can see student service project displays and learn how you can join the youth movement to make change happen in your community

Green Ambassadors Institute invites you to Part Two of A Watershed Moment, a hands-on exploration of the LA River! Get connected with the LA River and explore activities and tools to take action toward restoration and revitalization. Even if you missed Part One, register and join in on March 21, 8am-3pm.
Friends of the LA River (FOLAR) invites 1st through 12th grade students and their teachers to come visit the Los Angeles River Rover at the Buena Vista Library on March 28, noon-4pm. The River Rover is a 38' mobile visitor and education center that supports standards-based lessons and activities, and features a tour of the River's past, present, and future.
Join Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) for four days of fun on the LA Waterfront! Tall Ship Adventure Camp includes a morning dockside activity followed by an afternoon sail in San Pedro Bay. Designed for youth 12-17, each day of camp builds upon the other, but youth have the option of attending single days or all four at a discounted rate. March 30-April 2.
Earthwatch Institute: Urban Forest Teacher Training Day
You're invited to the Los Angeles Urban Forest Teacher Training Day, presented by the Earthwatch Institute and held at TreePeople's S. Mark Taper Environmental Learning Center. Sunday, March 29, 10am-2pm.
Become a field team leader prepared to lead your students in collecting citizen science data.
Receive instructions and materials that will help you demonstrate this experience to your students and engage them to carry out further research that will be used by University of California, Riverside.
You and your students will have the opportunity to contribute real-time to a larger spatial data set collected concurrently by NASA, while gaining a better understanding of the cooling impact of well-planned urban green spaces which can be enjoyed by local residents.
