36th Annual Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair
The Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair is a fun and festive celebration of environmental education resources, opportunities, and success. Students from all over Los Angeles County will share their service learning and environmental education projects. Nature Centers, Environmental Education Providers, and both public and private stakeholder partners showcase their work and resources. Entertainment and workshops are all open to the public....Over 30 exhibitors and experts will be attending. Fun for all ages and will include animals, garden exploration, interactive activities, etc. for everyone to enjoy.

Fantastic workshops like Smart Gardening's Composting Workshop or the Teacher Professional Development Workshop presented by TreePeople and Generation Earth
Nature passports to collect stamps by completing the various hands-on science and nature activities presented by Arcadia High School
Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots' annual Celebration of Service where you can see student service project displays and learn how you can join the youth movement to make change happen in your community

While you're at LAEEF 2015, join the Professional Development Workshop for teachers grades 6-12. Presented by Generation Earth. Secondary school teachers will learn how to create on-campus Environmental Service Learning Projects with their students. Teachers receive free resources, and a free bus for a project-related field trip. March 14, 9am-3pm at the Los Angeles Arboretum.
The California Environmental Education Foundation, in partnership with Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), invites educators who teach students in grades 4-12 at schools in the LADWP service area, to participate in an engaging three-Saturday Teacher Institute utilizing investigation-focused pedagogy to maximize collaborative learning in environmental education and place-based stewardship. The second Institute will be on March 28.
A two-part professional development series to equip educators & organizations with tools and content to lead solutions to LA-based water issues. Join dozens of Los Angeles organizations and educators to learn and share more on local and global water issues. Leave with content and projects to empower your students to take action in their communities!

The California Regional Environmental Education Community (CREEC) Network is an educational project supported by the California Department of Education in collaboration with state, regional and local partners. The CREEC network is the best source for environmental education resources in California. Its expansive communication network provides educators with access to high-quality educational resources to enhance the environmental literacy of California Students.
