New Leadership For CREEC Network With NGSS Expertise

The sun has set on 2014, and we have much to look forward to in the year ahead. We will surely hear much more about NGSS in the coming year with training opportunities offered for both teachers and EE providers across the North Coast. With much change afoot, the CREEC Network is pleased to welcome Shannon Gordon as our new Statewide CREEC Coordinator! Shannon began working for the California Department of Education (CDE) in 2013, and since that time she has been highly instrumental in the development, adoption, and rollout of the California Next Generation Science Standards. Her passion for, and background in, Environmental Education prompted her to apply for CDE’s Program Consultant position for Environmental Education. Her expertise will surely benefit the CREEC Network and EE throughout California.
