Welcome Back to the CREEC Network - Your Live Saver for Environmental Education

The CREEC Network is your lifesaver when it come to finding environmental education resources for the 2014 - 2015 school year! I know you've got wonderful plans for the school year and for your students and/or community. I hope you are including plans for environmental education and service learning projects for your campus or local environs too. With environmental education your can care for your students' academic life, care for the planet and care for your school all at the same time.

With the CREEC Network and EEI Curriculum you can access quality curriculum that is Common Core aligned and teaches environmental stewardship. Look at the Region 8 homepage for EEI trainings and webinars. Visit the CREEC website for conferences, grants, student contests and Region 8 calendar of events.

San Luis Obispo County EE Providers are getting together on October 28th at SLOCOE Computer Lab at 4pm to look at examples of aligning to Common Core and NGSS. Look for programs and resources in our online directory of EE Providers. If you are a provider of environmental education and haven't yet listed your organization and its program, now is the time to get onboard for this school year. Please email tlees@slocoe.org to let her know that you are coming on October 28th.

We are all in this life boat together and together we can make for a more sustainable future!
