Happy Solstice!
For many of us, summer is a time of renewal as we get outside and breathe in our world. Restoring our balance is vital as we face change in our classrooms. As the temperatures heat up, CREEC has some cool ideas for you and your loved ones.

This past spring we brought you news of upcoming Professional Development opportunities. This season we highlight some fabulous Outdoor Activities and thank our local CREEC Providers.

June 28: Hosted by the National Wildlife Foundation, thousands of people across the nation will spend the night of June 28th outdoors, in a tent or sleeping under the stars. If you don’t have a backyard, you can camp in one of America’s public lands. For camping tips and . . .
July 5th 10am-3pm: Naturalist-led hike and swimming at Bucks Lake. Transportation and beverages provided. Lunch available for purchase from Lakeshore Resort or bring your own. On return will stop at Quincy Natural Foods for folks to pick up supplies. . .
July 25-26 or September 12-13: This two-day photography workshop uses Lassen Volcanic National Park’s stunning landscape and diversity of ecosystems to learn about compositional principles. Field seminar proceeds directly benefit the park. For more information. . .
CREEC’s Mission is to link all educators to Environmental Education activities and resources throughout California. As a vital segment of our Community, CREEC Providers offer teacher professional development programs and experiential, hands-on learning programs for school children. . . .
