A Message From Our Statewide Coordinator
Teachers dedicate the school year to their students, but they also need to feed their own love of learning. If you are a teacher, now is the time to start thinking about professional development opportunities that will recharge your batteries and get you outside this summer! Take advantage of statewide opportunities such as the Forestry Institute for Teachers (Project FIT) at four different locations, the Floodplains Ecology Institutes, or the Cal Alive! Programs offered by the California Institute for Biodiversity, just to name a few. Find registration information and much more at www.creec.org. Keep reading to learn about many more regional opportunities in this newsletter!

High school and college students, studying full time, living within the district’s boundaries pursuing a degree related to, or identified with water, are invited to apply for our annual education grant. Please carefully review the District's map to see. . .
DIGICOM empowers young people to share their learning experiences and to give voice to what they think and believe through Digital Moviemaking. This year's Digicom Film Festival theme is “Live and Learn”.
