Valentine's Day - the holiday of romance. So is a kiss just a kiss? We would have to say - not!

Did you know that there are some cultures where kissing does not even exist? Research the history of kissing and it goes in many directions with its origin. Some say our strong interest in the kiss...and the lips is from the film industry. We've learned it and imitate it. We want our lips to look like those on the big screen.

Lips come in all different sizes and shapes and each of our lips age differently. Lines and wrinkles form from use (smoking, using straws to drink, pursing), heredity factors (we all know someone who has deep "smoker lines" but have never taken a puff in their life) and normal aging which includes the loss of fat and collagen in the lips - they are shrinking as we age! And, of course, there are different types of treatments to regain and maintain a youthful pout.

Small lips and fine lines:

Injectable filler to the lips plumps them and also aids in pulling out the fine lines that have formed because the lip has shrunk (think about a balloon that is slowly deflating)

Fine lines:
