 What is tonight's celebration about???

February 2013, Lawrence Ben Miles will be celebrating his sixth year as the 'Women in Business Advocate" at New York Women's Chamber of Commerce.  This is a celebration to say thank you for his dedication.

Lawrence Ben Miles

"Women in Business Advocate"

Lawrence is currently the Business assistant of the New York Women's Chamber of Commerce in Harlem.  He is also known to some as the "Mayor of Harlem."   He is a strong advocate for the growth of the community and promoting the growth of others.

He started with New York Women's Chamber of Commerce in 2008, over the years he has become a friend, colleague, confidant and inspiration to all of the "Women in Business" that are involved with New York Chamber of Commerce.

He helps women on a one-on-one basis with the growth, marketing and promotion of their business. Which helped contribute to another label for Lawrence being known as "The Connector" - he happily connects Women in Business with other entrepreneurs and networking opportunities.

Prior to his role at New York Women's Chamber of Commerce, he started in the music business, in 2000 and he worked with various labels, such as motown records, atlantic records and more.

He attended LaGuardia College and currently resides in Harlem, NY.

1.7 million Teens are homeless and #1 item they request from shelters is a pair of jeans and we can help - PLEASE DONATE YOUR GENTLY WORN JEANS and Aeropostale will match and deliver them to the teens in
Shelters.

Teens for Jeans Drive info and FAQs

DoSomething, Aropostale and P.S. from Aropostale have partnered with over 1000 homeless shelters across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Your jeans will be donated to a homeless shelter in your local community.

What size jeans are we accepting?

  • Homeless shelters often have a greater need for large sizes, but will be happy to accept jeans of all sizes for this campaign. All of the jeans should be in good condition.

Does it matter what brand of jeans?

  • Nope. We want to collect as many jeans as possible! All we ask is that they are in good condition

If I can't make it or forget my jeans, where should I take them?

  • Every Aropostale and P.S. from Aropostale store will be accepting jean donations until February 10, 2013.
