Friday, December 14, 2012 was a sad and tragic day in Newtown, CT.  We send our prayers and condelences to the families of the victims. This is the time we need to continue to be thankful for our families and our blessings.

Let's put family back into the holiday season.  Bundle everybody up then go out and participate in some of the holiday festivities. Here are a few ideas of family fun:
Ice skating at Bryant Park or Rockefeller Center;  the train show at the Botanical Gardens; see the Polar Express in 4D at the Bronx Zoo or get some tickets to Holiday Musical.  If you don't want to go out, stay home make a gingerbread house or some other fun holiday treats or crafts.
Just do it together!

When our children ask why bad things happen to children, hug them tight and say "God needed more angels to watch over and protect us - may they sleep in peace."
