Welcome to Wheaton Interim
The Wheaton Interim branch opened on May 19, 2016 at 9 AM. The interim is located at 2400 Arcola Avenue, in the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad Grand Ballroom. The interim location is open for 68 hours a week, including evenings and weekends (Monday-Thursday, 9-9; Friday and Saturday, 10-6; Sunday, 1-5). The library staff worked hard to prepare this wonderful space where our Wheaton community can access quality library services and programming while we await the new library and community recreation center.

"Makers and builders and doers - of all ages and backgrounds - have pushed our country forward."
President Barack Obama
Uprooted by Naomi Novik cover
Uprooted by Naomi Novik retells the story of Beauty and the Beast in a land where magic is real and supernatural evil lurks in the natural world. When young Agnieszka is selected by the power sorcerer known as the Dragon to be his servant for ten years, she is terrified. She certainly never expects to discover magical abilities of her own or to become entangled in the Dragon's battle to protect their village from the encroaching magic of the Woods.
