"They really put their problem solving skills to the test."
- JRES Parent

What do these topics have in common? They are a just a few of PCEF's  School Grants for 2015 - 2016. Every PCSD School made grant requests, and we are thrilled to fund 28 of them for a total of $150,000!

It is thanks to your generous support of Running with Ed, as well as your $180 per child, that we are able to fund these programs. Thanks to you, our teachers and students benefit from these programs.

A JRES parent had this to say about a robotics grant, "It was great to see the kids succeeding at something hard. They really put their problem solving skills to the test. As a parent, I was completely impressed by this learning opportunity! Thank you for providing this grant."

Grant requests must fall into one of PCEF's six key interest areas: Early Childhood Education, College and Career Readiness, STEM, the Arts, Academic Rigor, and Professional Development/Teacher Recognition. Please click here to learn more about next year's School Grants. Read all about it in this article from the Park Record. And thanks again for making it possible to fund these programs!

Thank You for Making Running with Ed 2015 the Best Yet!

You ran. You fundraised. You volunteered. You weathered the rain. You wore crazy costumes. And, you came together for one BIG party at the Finish. Thanks to you, RWE raised $240,000!

We can't thank you enough for making RWE a true community event that celebrates education in Park City. The school exchanges were excellent (thank you school volunteers!) and there were a record-breaking number of runners (1,200!) including the most teachers and students ever. Because of you, we can fund next year's School Grants, and more. Thank you!

Thank you also to our sponsors and in-kind donors. Our sponsors generously cover the costs of the event, ensuring every dollar in registration fees and fundraising can go back to PCEF, and from there, to our schools, teachers, and students. Our in-kind donors help ensure that our costs stay low as well. And of course, a huge thanks to all the volunteers, including the tireless and passionate RWE Committee

Check out all the fun on the RWE Facebook page.

We need your help! Be sure to vote RWE for Park City's Favorite Fundraiser, and Park City's Favorite Sporting Event!

Have you heard about the Summer BBQ Bashes donated by the Chesley and Miller families?  Maybe you've heard about them through the PC Ski Team, WSD or at the Red Apple Gala?

Well, they are hosting their last charity BBQ fundraiser this summer on July 11th!  Yes, you read it here...the LAST!  We are talking about mouth watering, eat too much 'cause you just can't stop BBQ by Jason Miller, scrumptious homemade desserts, bottomless hand crafted cocktails, a rock'n live band, good people, and the amazingly beautiful backyard venue at the home of the Halseys.

There are a limited number of tickets still available for this event through June 15th.  The Chesleys, Halseys, and Millers are hoping you can join them for a summer celebration that supports the Park City Education Foundation! Please feel free to invite your friends too.  Tickets may be purchased for just $100/person. Don't miss it!
