Message from the Director

Dear Library Customer:

Your Library system has begun to reimagine itself as an engaged, community-centered asset - rethinking spaces for our customers to learn, create and grow. A shining example of our ongoing transformation was the recent grand re-opening of our iconic West Toledo Branch. This building project will serve as a catalyst for an amazing journey - one that puts our customers' needs first. Enhancement projects are underway at Oregon and planned at Mott and the city of Sylvania, and other renovations are in the pipeline. Our sophisticated customers are now generators of information. Our locations will stand ready with 3D printers, collaborative space to create content such as audio and video studios and training centers for technology. Before we put pen to paper on any building project, I encourage our staff to always think customer service. We are doing everything we can to stay relevant and engaging for you. Please never hesitate to reach out to me.

Sincerely,
Clyde Scoles
Library Director/Fiscal Officer
