What do Dad's want to Do on Father's Day?

Needing the lowdown from the Dad's here before I send myself OVER THE EDGE trying to find the perfect gift and the perfect activity for Father's Day. I have lived through a few hollow Mother's Days, that although well intended, just felt kind of flat..you know? Is that mean? No! Let's use this info to help us give Dad what HE wants this year!
One of the easiest ways is to, dare I say it, ASK HIM! Yep, a sweet inquiry of "Hon, what are you dreaming about doing this Dad's day?" might be incredibly illuminating. Let them create the activity template, and you produce it - meaning: make it happen.

What's Daddy's Role in the NICU?

I always thought I would only write about the fun and entertaining parts of pregnancy, and never have to venture into the spaces of pain, and hurt. I want to share this experience with you. This is not my first time going thru labor in a hospital, but this time it was different than the others.
On December 9th, Sunday afternoon, we (the kids and Katy & I) were all at home working around the house and preparing for a city wide event that evening, my practically to term pregnant wife, Katy felt a sharp pain in her uterus and became worried, she felt a few contractions, and we decided to go to the hospital.

When you're a new or expecting dad advice comes at you from every direction. Some of it is great, and other bits you have to take with a grain of salt. With seven kids of my own, I've compiled a list of the top 5 things every new or expecting dad needs to know:
- Be present: Get off the computer, put your phone down and truly be present with your children whenever you have the opportunity. This will allow the time you actually get to spend with your kids to matter more; it will allow you to build bonds that will last a lifetime.
