Paulie Rockz: the name says it all. This mixed age class will have you and your child rocking out and learning at the same time. Think The Wheels On The Bus meets Sweet Home Alabama! Be prepared to groove because each class will have lots of singing, movement, dancing, instrument exploration, rhythm exercises, lullabies, bubbles and more. You and your child will experience dynamics such as loud and energized to slow and quiet all in one session creating a colorful musical journey. Combining traditional and original children's songs with classic pop/rock songs and music education makes Paulie Rockz a class that kids as well as their parents and caregivers can enjoy together.
As a professional musician and teacher, Paulie Z has a unique ability to entertain and educate simultaneously. Whether he's in a classroom or on the big stage, Paulie's number one goal is to keep you engaged and ensure that you have an unforgettable musical experience. For 16 years now, he has been teaching in private and public schools and has been touring and recording his own rock and children's music. Find new and supportive friendships with other moms and have fun, as you learn songs and play designed to nurture attachment and learning. Topics presented will reflect the needs of each group, and will include guidance for regulating your baby's sleep routine, feeding, developmental play and childcare. Later topics explore new studies regarding language acquisition, temperament, praise and the power of imaginative play. As babies' personality starts to emerge, a series on how to keep communication open and model empathy during difficult moments will be presented. The discussions will include support for the profound adjustment to new roles as mother and wife/partner.
Each week we will be covering subjects such as safety, soothing methods, sleep, teething, developmental play, feeding and much, much more. At each group you will receive Pump Station & Nurtury™ Milk Money™ which will give you discounts towards products Julie believes every Mom needs.

Why didn't anybody talk to us about this before the baby was born? This is the most common protest that I hear in my new moms' support class! Right now you are expecting a baby and you have probably been busy finding a good obstetrician and doula, taking childbirth preparation and baby care classes, and getting your baby registry together. All those things are certainly important, but have you taken a moment to ask any of the following questions: What is the best way to bond as a new family right after baby comes home? What are the signs to be aware for postpartum depression and is it true that dads can experience PPD as well? How do you nourish your relationship as a couple when you are both in the throws of caring for a newborn? These are just a few of the questions that new parents wished they thought about before baby arrived!
This workshop is designed for expecting couples to explore ahead of time the expectations and realities of what life will be like once baby is here. Talking about what parenting is really like - busting myths like "breastfeeding is easy and comes naturally" - will help you prepare for parenthood in a way that having the best diaper cake or baby wipe warmer just won't do.
