Mamalode's® Mother's Day Eve® with The Pump Station™
Mother's Day is starting early thanks to Mamalode® and its 10th annual Mother's Day Eve® celebration. National parenting media company, Mamalode® and The Pump Station & Nurtury™ have partnered to throw a party for Los Angeles mamas on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Mamalode® believes that the night before Mother's Day should be dedicated to women with children everywhere to celebrate with each other and recharge, relax & have fun.
The Garage Featuring The Motor Club (@ 3387 Motor Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90034) will be hosting the Mother's Day Eve® celebration in Los Angeles from 7-10 p.m on May 10.
Dinner - Drinks - Comedy - Swag - New Friends - a Ride Home!
Swag bags will be available for all attending moms and there will also be dad comedians taking center stage making the moms laugh all night long.
Uber will be donating $20 to all attendees towards a ride to/from the event! So, leave the kiddos with dad or the babysitter* and come enjoy some well-deserved me-time! The goal of this workshop is to help parents create healthy sleep habits for their family. This workshop will provide you answers to such common sleep questions as:- How much sleep should my infant be getting?
- What are age appropriate sleep expectations?
- How can I establish good sleep habits to improve my infant's sleep?
- Should my infant be on a nap schedule, and if so, how can I establish one?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends, "Back to sleep, tummy to play," but is that really happening? Babies are now spending too much time on their backs and in various seats, which can lead to a wide range of developmental delays as well as an increase in cases of "flat head." Frequent opportunities throughout the day, building up to an hour of supervised playtime, known as 'tummy time,' is important for gross and fine motor and cognitive development. It also creates the foundation for future crawling and walking. Many parents avoid 'tummy time' because their baby doesn't seem to like it or gets frustrated in this position quite quickly.
We invite you and your baby to attend this unique tummy time class where you will learn practical tips and solutions that will promote gross motor, fine motor, sensory motor and visual development. In this class, you will experience new ways to easily integrate tummy time into your baby's daily routine in a playful, and interactive setting with the support and guidance of a pediatric physical therapist along with an infant and child development specialist. Parents will leave knowing concrete, developmentally appropriate strategies for pleasurable and purposeful tummy time play.
