6 Months to 12 Months Children play at every stage of development. Parents create a learning environment for their child through movement, sensory experiences and play. This session will help you to know when and how your older baby discovers physical (gross and fine motor) and cognitive developmental play skills through age appropriate activities and toys which stimulate exploration and interaction. Bring your older baby and come play.

Edith Mak, OTR/L, is a licensed occupational therapist and UCLA Extension trained certified lactation educator. She is certified in pediatric and baby Neurodevelopmental treatment and has completed advanced training in treatment of children with sensory integrative dysfunction. Her clinical pediatric experience includes hospital-based care (neonatal intensive care unit, rehabilitation), school settings (early intervention, preschool) and private practice.
