Local Fundraiser for the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center
 
Mariposa Baking Cinnamon Bun
 
Mariposa Baking of Oakland is partnering with the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center to raise funds for research. You can participate by buying Mariposa cinnamon buns and sandwich bread online or in their retail bakeshops during May. Read Press Release

Summer Camps:

 

Northern California

Camp Celiac at Camp Arroyo  - Camp registration is now full for both summer 2013 sessions. If you register now you will be on the waiting list for cancellations and still have a chance of going. We do get cancellations. The camp is located in the scenic foothills of Livermore, CA, and is administered by the Celiac Community Foundation of Northern California in a partnership with The Taylor Family Foundation. Each session is five days/four nights and costs only $25 due to the generosity of The Taylor Family Foundation, business sponsors and individual donors. It is open to ages 9-17. Go to www.celiaccamp.com for more information and registration forms.  

 

Southern California

CDF Camp Gluten-Free at Camp Nawakwa  Registration for summer 2013 is open. The camp  is located in the beautiful San Bernardino Forest, and is administered by the Celiac Disease Foundation in partnership with Camp Fire. The camp costs $450 (financial aid available) and is open to ages 7-17. Visit the camp's website to learn more and register.
