Troop Happenings: Preserving the Precious for Arbor Day

Troop 2043 honored Arbor Day by planting trees at the State Farm Bakersfield Sports Village. Throughout the years, Arbor Day has encouraged people, young and old, to take part in this worthy cause to help beautify the community. Trees were provided by the sports village while a total of fifty of them were planted by the Girl Scouts. Girls also received patches provided by the Bank of the Sierra to wear proudly in honor of this day. Find more information and pictures here. Way to go Girl Scouts!
