Happy Fourth of July!
Happy Fourth of July to all our Girl Scout families and friends! Stay safe this holiday!

We know loud fireworks can be hard on Fido, so we have some tips on how to help your dog this July 4th.
Also, this holiday, share your love of history with a keepsake  -the Girl Scouts Commemorative Silver Dollar. Learn all about it at
How about S'mores?

Troop Happenings

Troop 2054 from Pixley had their end of the year celebration, and used cookie proceeds to watch Monsters University and then went to the Adventure Park.

Troop 2385 made an "Epic" appearance to kick off summer and the great outdoors!

Girls are also exploring the great outdoors! Troop 3044 went camping at San Simeon Campground near Cambria.

Troop 88 from Hanford bridged to Cadettes, and took it to a whole other level, using the Golden Gate Bridge for their event.
Girl Scout sisters Olivia and Isabella from Troop 3094 decided to cut their hair and donate it to children with cancer. Awesome job, girls!
Girl Scouts are doing awesome things this summer!
Our CEO, Cathy Ferguson was a Plenary Session Speaker at the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada Women's Conference in Reno

Cathy spoke in June at Flourish: The Leadership Conference for Women, where nearly 200 women attended. One attendee said,

"Cathy Ferguson was amazing. Every aspect was motivating and inspiring. Quite possibly one of the best speakers I have ever seen."

Four Girls completed the Counselor in Training Course
Kudos to Andrea, Treasa, Hannah and Jocelyn who attended 2 classes in Fresno to complete the CIT class. They learned how to mentor younger girls in a camp setting with the goal of being a camp counselor.
