If your troop would like a fundraising project to help pay for your girls' summer activities...
we are looking for 2 troops to help out at a large-scale family picnic for our major sponsor on Friday June 14, in Fresno.
No more than four Girl Scouts, supervised by four adults from each troop are needed to staff the ice-cream stand. They need to arrive by 5:30 PM for their shift, which will run from 6:00-8:30 PM.
Open to Brownies through Ambassadors, who will take orders from around 2,000 invited guests. The troops' adult volunteers will scoop and serve guests their choice of ice-cream. This will NOT involve handling any money. Our sponsor is making a donation to GSCCS of which $250 will be given to each of the two troops, as a thank you of their help. E nter your troop in the drawing by 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday June 7 by emailing info@girlscoutsccs.org. We will do the drawing after 2:00 PM on Friday afternoon, June 7.
