Saturday, February 23The Fresno Goldmine Store will be closed  to attend Girl Scouting Around the World

The store will be available to shoppers prior to the opening ceremony from 9:00 AM -10:00 AM, closed during the ceremony, re-open for the remainder of the event and close promptly at 4:00 PM.  

Please remember to bring your Cookie Dollars and 2013 Nut Bucks.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) season kicks off February 2nd. This volunteer-run program provides free tax preparation and e-filing services to individuals that made $50,000 or less during the 2012 tax season. There are 19 different sites within Fresno County. FREE International Exchange Opportunity for older girls and adults! The American Youth Leadership Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the University of Wyoming 4-H program is seeking youth between 15 - 17, to participate in an exchange trip to Samoa, December 13, 2013 through Jan 4, 2014. Details on the brochure. This award recognizes five young people between the ages of 5 and 18 for their extraordinary community service and volunteer activities at a special recognition event in New York City, and awards each winner a $1,000 educational scholarship.

The 50th Annual Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Day Service, on May 27 at Fresno Memorial Gardens, is looking for Girl Scouts to participate in the service. Please contact Tony at (559) 438-8481 for more information.
Doodle 4 Google invites K-12 students to use their artistic talents to think big and redesign the Google homepage logo for millions to see. This year's theme is "My Best Day Ever..." One talented student artist will see their artwork appear on the Google homepage, receive a $30,000 college scholarship, and a $50,000 technology grant for their school along with some other cool prizes! Click here to enter!
