The world will come to life! Troops and Service Units will be presenting country exhibits, there will be live entertainment and a day full of fun and education for the entire family. This year's theme ~ Together we can save children's lives.


Tickets purchased by January 25 are $5.00 per person; after that $7.00. Please bring a toiletry item or infant item for donation. Must have tickets in hand to enter.

 Tuesday, February 5: The Fresno Goldmine Store/Office will not open until 2:30 PM. The Bakersfield Goldmine Store/Office will be closed for the entire day.

Saturday, February 16 - Monday, February 18The Goldmine Stores and Offices in Fresno and Bakersfield will be closed for President's Day.

Saturday, February 23The Fresno Goldmine Store will be closed  to attend Girl Scouting Around the World

The store will be available to shoppers prior to the opening ceremony from 9:00 AM -10:00 AM, closed during the ceremony, re-open for the remainder of the event and close promptly at 4:00 PM.  Please remember to bring your Cookie Dollars and 2013 Nut Bucks.  . 

FREE International Exchange Opportunity for older girls and adults!

The American Youth Leadership Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the University of Wyoming 4-H program is seeking youth between 15 - 17, to participate in an exchange trip to Samoa, December 13, 2013 through Jan 4, 2014.  Details on the brochure. Doodle 4 Google invites K-12 students to use their artistic talents to think big and redesign the Google homepage logo for millions to see. This year's theme is "My Best Day Ever..." Rotary Storyland Playland needs help! CLEAN-UP DAY!! 
Playland opens its 2013 season on Saturday, February 9th, so there's lots to do to get the park sparkling and ready to go!

National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards

$10,000 awards and an invitation to a White House awards ceremony for  after-school and out-of-school arts and humanities programs for underserved children and youth. Programs can be initiated by museums, libraries, performing arts organizations, schools and universities, arts centers, community service organizations, and eligible government agencies.
