What can a Girl Scout do when disaster strikes?

We can help guide girls who want to know how they can help after a disaster. GSUSA has shared with us these valuable guidelines about Girl Scout leadership in times of disaster, for both girls and adults.

The DuPont Challenge encourages students in grades 7-12 to research and write a 700-1,000 word essay addressing challenging topics in four categories: "Together, we can feed the world," "Together, we can build a secure energy future," "Together, we can protect people and the environment," and "Together, we can be innovative anywhere." Award prizes total more than $100,000 and include U.S. Savings Bonds for all winners and a special awards trip to Orlando, Florida for the top two students in each division.
