Parents and Students!
International Family Fun Night - your opportunity to introduce your country!
  The time has come again for our annual International Family Fun Night on Friday, March 1 from 18:00-19:30. Every year we ask parents (or groups of parents ) to volunteer and create a room that is dedicated to their home country. In the past we've had rooms about Austria, Peru, USA, Ethiopia, Korea, and many other countries.
This year we'd like each room to include four different stations for people to visit: 1. cultural food samples 2. demonstrations of cultural activities (a game to play, dancing, etc.) 3. fun cultural facts (using visuals is a great way for kids of all ages to learn) 4. your choice
(Since we are a Christian school we would kindly ask that you would respect this and not bring in other religious
items from your countries' culture.)
If you are interested in sponsoring a room, please contact the elementary principal, Amanda Howard, at ahoward@icsv.at by Monday, February 25. We look forward to an evening full of celebrating the different cultures that make up our school community. |

Thank you to all those who supported the Romania Fundraiser last Friday!

Community News
Baseball Registration for the 2013 Spring season has been opened. The spring season will start on 13 April and end with the Championship games on 8 June. Registrations can be submitted through our website (http://www.aibcvienna.org). On 9 March the evaluations will be held in the Sports Bubble at the American International School. This year the evaluations will start at 14:30 till 17:30. Volunteers wanted As every year, we also need your help throughout the upcoming season. We need especially help in the area of coaching, but also scorekeeping and umpiring. Also, we would like to have at least one (1) parent per team assisting the coach as Dugout+Safety parent. Their task would be to make sure that the kids remain in the dugout so they cannot be hit by foul balls.
Moms in Prayer We welcome all moms and teacher-moms (who are free) to join us in praying for the school and our children on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 9:30am in the Staff break room. Pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children. Lam. 2:19
