 SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS WANTED
We're busy planning the fall schedule at Saint Paul's and need your help! The Children's and Youth Programs are growing at Saint Paul's. We are looking for a few committed teachers for Sunday morning Christian Formation classes. Please prayerfully consider how you can support our Christian Formation programs. If you are interested in teaching or in assisting Sunday School in any way, please contact Eleanor Smolen. |
Summer Parish Office Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers (both women and men welcome!) to answer the telephone and greet those who come to the office at Saint Paul's during the summer weeks. It's a great way to get to know the staff and the parishioners at Saint Paul's and still enjoy some time on the side with your favorite newspaper or iPad. There are a few openings in our weekly schedule, from either 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, or from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. We schedule volunteers for only one month at a time, and so this need not be a long-term commitment on your part. Contact Mary Lou Harold or by phone at 706-737-3838 to learn more. |
Donate Summer Sunday Guest Musicians
Donate summer Sunday guest musicians. On the Sundays during July and August when the choirs are on vacation there are opportunities to provide for guest singers and instrumentalists. Gifts can be in memory or honor of someone or in thanksgiving. Please contact Keith Shafer, for details or (706)724-2485 ext. #215. |
Book Club "Shoot Out" Thursday, July 23, 10:00 a.m., Tyler Hall
The Annual Saint Paul's Book Club Shout-Out for the selection of books to be read for 2015-2016 will be taking place on Thursday, July 23 at 10 a.m. in Tyler Hall. Please bring at least three book recommendations for the upcoming year and bring a salad to share. The Shootout is a great time to hear about books, enjoy delicious food, and enjoy the fellowship with this fun group. Contact Anita Tanner for more information.

Manna Pantry is a ministry that provides food to 130 families and individuals on even-numbered months throughout the year. Friday volunteers help unload the truck, arrange tables, assemble boxes, open and sort items, and box food for persons who will need special assistance the next day. Saturday volunteers will greet and check in guests, then fill their boxes as they move them along the tables cafeteria-style. Some volunteers are needed to assist persons by carrying their loaded boxes to their cars. Parishioners of all ages are encouraged to participate in this ministry. |
