Cornerstone (6th - 12th grades) Ultimate Frisbee Tournament

Sunday 5:00 - 6:30 p.m., Church of Our Savior
Cornerstone will meet Sunday night for the Annual Ultimate Frisbee Tournament from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.  This month's location will be the Church of Our Savior, 4227 Columbia Rd, Martinez.  Saint Paul's holds the Ultimate Frisbee title for the last several years.  Plan to be there and bring all your frisbee-player friends to help us defend the title once again.  For more information contact Eleanor Smolen.
Lay Eucharistic Minister & Lay Eucharistic Visitor Training
Deadline to Register Monday, March 9
Saturday, March 14, 2015, The Church of Our Savior 
Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM) and Lay Eucharistic Visitor (LEV) Training will be held on Saturday, March 14, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Church of Our Savior, 4227 Columbia Road, Martinez. This training is for all who would like to be licensed as a new LEM or new LEV as well as those who currently are serving and need to renew their license.  Please contact Mary-Kathleen Blanchard to let her know of your interest and 
register for this training by emailing Our Savior or calling (706) 863-1718 by March 9th.

Easter Lilies and Brass
Easter Lilies are placed in the church and are enjoyed throughout the Easter season and additional professional musicians enhance our Easter services.  If you would like to contribute toward the cost of Easter music, or give an Easter lily, please return the form found in Sunday's  bulletin  to the Parish Office.  Requests may also be made by e-mail to the Parish Office, on line,  and through the Saint Paul's App no later than Wednesday, March 25th. 
Lenten Study - "I believe"
Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m., Tyler Hall

For five Wednesdays, beginning February 25, at 11:00 a.m. we will gather in Tyler Hall to discuss what we believe. The final paragraph of the Apostles' Creed is as follows: I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Each week we will look into the Church's meaning of each phrase, our thoughts and understandings on each and ultimately discover what it is that "I believe." We invite you to join us for the noon service in the Chapel immediately following this study.

EYC Sunday School Service Project Day
Sunday, March 15, 8:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
EYC Sunday School Service Project Day is next Sunday, March 15th.  Meet at Saint Paul's Church at 8:30 a.m. dressed in jeans/t-shirt.  We'll head to Good Shepherd for 9:00 a.m. worship, then caravan out to the project site.  Canterbury Choir has been excused to be able to participate in the project.  This event will take the place of Sunday School and Confirmation for the day.  We'll return to Good Shepherd by 1:30 p.m.  Drivers are Needed!  Please contact Eleanor Smolen ASAP.
Middle School Zip Trip
Deadline to sign up Sunday, March 15
Only one week left for middle school youth to sign up for the Zip Line Trip (April 24-25.)  Contact Eleanor immediately to sign up. 
Rose Sunday Concert
Sunday, March 15, 3:00 p.m.
This year's Rose Sunday Concert is Sunday, March 15th at 3:00 p.m. and features Keith Shafer playing organ works by Bach, Franck, Schumann, Brewer, Bedard, and Gigout. The concert is free, child care is available, and a reception in Tyler Hall follows the program. This is a great opportunity to invite friends to church.

Children, Youth, and Families Committee (CYFC) Meeting
Wednesday, March 18, 5:00 p.m.
The Children, Youth and Families Committee will meet Wednesday, March 18, 5:00 p.m. in Tyler Hall.  The committee plans events and programs for children,youth and families and provides support for Eleanor Smolen, our Youth and Children's Ministry Director.  If you are interested in serving on the committee or have ideas for our program, please contact CYFC chairman, Todd Shafer

Sunday, May 3rd is an open Sunday for altar flowers.  If you would like to sponsor the flowers in memory or thanksgiving of someone special please contact Lynn Mays or Clint Carroll .
Hometown Missions at Saint Paul's April 17-19
Youth Registration Deadline March 31 for Hometown Missions (6th - 12th grades)
Register for Hometown Missions: You don't want to miss this! The Hometown Missions weekend is fast approaching, and registration space is limited.  Register now! This project is open to 6th - 12th grades, April 17-19, and will be a wonderful weekend of outreach to our own community, other youth, and great fellowship with one another. Register now on-line. Help/Donations Needed For Hometown Missions:

Hometown Missions at Saint Paul's is fast approaching, and we need to be ready to provide great hospitality to our friends from around the Diocese - as well as the Bishop! We are in need of people to sign up for shifts to transport kids to/from work sites, shifts for cooking breakfast or dinner for the group, making sack lunches for the group, and breakfast for the Bishop and kids. We are also in need of donations of bottled water and food items for participants, as well as toiletries for one of our work projects. If you prefer to offer a monetary donation, that would be great too! Visit our webpage www. saintpauls.org, or contact Eleanor Smolen to sign up and donate!
