Bryan S. Hawkins, Esq.
Bryan Hawkins has been a member of Saint Paul's Church since 2011. Bryan graduated from the University of Georgia and the Mississippi College School of Law. He is a practicing attorney in Downtown Augusta and specializes in workers' compensation law. Bryan serves an Usher at Saint Paul's and has previously served one term on the newly formed Evangelism Committee. As of January 1, 2015, Bryan is serving as the Chairman of said Committee.

Bryan has recently concluded his second term on the Board of Directors at West Lake Country Club and would bring to the Vestry his previous Board experience, which included governing a multimillion-dollar non-profit member-owned corporation. Additionally, Bryan would bring to the Vestry his business acumen having owned and operated a small business of his own for 5 years, and 8 years of legal experience having practiced law in the State of Georgia since 2006. Finally, Bryan would bring to the Vestry an understanding of current trends in social media/web-based marketing, which would enable the Church to reach out to potential new parishioners.

Bryan is interested in bringing in more young families as new parishioners because he believes families are the foundation of a strong and vibrant Church. To do so, Bryan believes we need to devote more resources to our youth and childhood Christian education programs, while not compromising our commitments to our outreach ministries, our first rate music ministry, or the maintenance of our historic building. Bryan believes his experiences as a lawyer, a businessman, and his previous community involvement serving on other Boards will assist the Vestry in moving Saint Paul's forward.

Wright Montgomery
Wright Montgomery has been an active member of Saint Paul's Church for most of his life. Baptized at Christ Church in Savannah, he and his family joined Saint Paul's parish after moving to Augusta in 1990. Since then, he has ardently participated in the practices and liturgy of the Episcopal Church, and has devotedly served as acolyte, choir member, and Audio-Video Operator.

Wright moved to Athens in 2006 to attend the University of Georgia, and after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, he moved back to Augusta in 2012, and currently works at Cranston Engineering Group, P.C. Since his return, he has continued to play an active role in the church, and looks forward to serving on the Vestry.
Rex
Claiborne Porubsky
I am a life long member of Saint Paul's Church-I was baptized, confirmed and married here. I grew up going to Sunday school, singing in the choir and acolyting. After graduating from Augusta Prep, I attended Wake Forest University and then returned back to Augusta. I worked for Glaxo Smith Kline as a pharmaceutical sales representative. I married my husband, Eddie, in 1998 and we have two children-Claiborne,11, and Austin,8. Claiborne and Austin enjoy serving as acolytes.

At Saint Paul's Church, I have served on the Nursery Guild, co-chaired the stewardship campaign and volunteered for angel tree. In the community, I am on the Episcopal Day School Board of Trustees and serve on the executive finance committee. I value and appreciate the faith based education my children receive at EDS as it helps them grow in their spiritual journey. I enjoy playing tennis, practicing yoga and traveling with my family and friends.

Monty
Dea Baldwin
Dea grew up in the Lutheran Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She earned both a Master of Social Work and Master in Child Development from West Virginia University. In 1981 as a young professional, working as a neonatal social worker at Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Dea was received into the Episcopal Church.

Dea and Guy Baldwin married in 1987 and Dea became the step-mother of two delightful daughters. Two years later they relocated to North Augusta when Guy accepted an engineering position at SRS. For the past 24 years Dea and Guy and their three sons, Alex, Ricky and Joey, have called Saint Paul's their church home.

Although Dea does occasional professional contract work, her main focus has been family, church, and community. Within Saint Paul's she has served as nursery coordinator, children's Sunday School teacher, VBS coordinator, women's Bible study leader, EYC parent volunteer, and a member of the Outreach Committee and the Children, Youth, and Family Committee. Dea has also served as a children's leader for Bible Study Fellowship International and participates in Mom's in Prayer International.

It is the ministries and opportunities to serve at Saint Paul which have helped ground Dea and her family in their faith. Dea is thankful to be a part of this caring and diverse community of believers and is honored to be nominated for Junior Warden. If elected Dea is committed to prayerfully serving the congregation in furthering Saint Paul's mission to share the Good News of God in Jesus Christ within the church, in greater Augusta, and beyond.
