Next WeekJanuary 5 - January 11

What's cluttering your attic? Genuine antiques, funky things, interesting "what's it's"-- you know the stuff! If it's clean and in good working condition*, why not donate it to the Saint Paul's Mardi Gras auction? Large or small, serious or whimsical, expensive or dirt cheap. It might be just the treasure someone is hunting!

The New year is a great time for cleaning out the cobwebs and making a fresh start.  Use this time to turn your unused treasures into food for Augusta's hungry by donating to a cause that's not only fun, but a blessing to our community. For more information or to donate items, email Marilyn Grau or contact her by telephone at (706) 860-8037.

Mardi Gras is only a few weeks away!

*Small electronics may be more suitable for Saint Paul's recycling program.  A box is located in Tyler Hall for your convenience.

Saint Paul's Book Club will be meeting at its regular time; the fourth Thursday, January 22 at 10:00 A.M. Light refreshments will be served. Come join us as we discuss the novel, Guests On Earth by Lee Smith. The novel is set in a mental institution for the well-to-do; the story is based on the hospital Highlands in Asheville, NC. It's most famous guest was Zelda Fitzgerald, but she is not the center of the story. This is a well-told story of people who meet--both guests/patients and staff--and how they affect each other's lives. The plot is intricate and involving. Like all good novels, it offers insights that help the reader gain new perspectives on life. This should be a lively discussion. New members are always welcome! For more information: contact Anita Tanner.
