Ironman Sunday News | September 28 |
Ironman Traffic Instructions
The largest Half Ironman in the world comes to town this Sunday. It's an exciting weekend for the Saint Paul's neighborhood. Traffic is well organized for this event. You should experience very little delays getting to church following these instructions, however, as always, it's best to give yourself a few extra minutes to get to church next Sunday.
Traveling from South Carolina: The 5th Street Bridge will be closed, therefore, you should use the 13th Street Bridge or Riverwatch Parkway. One lane for traffic will be open on Reynolds Street all the way from 13th Street to the church.
Traveling from Augusta: The Run Course moves along 13th Street from Greene to Broad meaning this two lane street will have only one lane open. The same is true for Reynolds. The best route will be to travel 13th Street to Reynolds. Broad street will be completely closed. Gordon Highway ramps will be closed at Broad Street and Bay Street until 6:00 p.m.
