Ironman Sunday NewsSeptember 28
Ironman Traffic Instructions
The largest Half Ironman in the world comes to town next Sunday.  It's an exciting weekend for the Saint Paul's neighborhood.  Traffic is well organized for this event.  You should experience very little delays getting to church following these instructions, however, as always, it's best to give yourself a few extra minutes to get to church next Sunday.

Traveling from South Carolina:  The 5th Street Bridge will be closed, therefore, you should use the 13th Street Bridge or Riverwatch Parkway.  One lane for traffic will be open on Reynolds Street all the way from 13th Street to the church.

Traveling from Augusta:  The Run Course  moves along 13th Street from Greene to Broad meaning this street will have a lane closed.  The best route will be to travel to Reynolds prior to 13th street.  Broad street will be completely closed.  Gordon Highway ramps will be closed at Broad Street and Bay Street until 6:00 p.m.

Each year the Ironman Race is held in our neighborhood.  This event is such a wonderful opportunity for our parish to welcome and connect with people who might not otherwise meet our church family and to boost the triathletes as they start off on this journey that will be an endeavor of the mind, body, and spirit.  Please make plans to be part of this special weekend.  If you would like additional information on the event or on how you can be involved, please contact Jack Hayman or  803- 295- 6458.

I give of myself to Saint Paul's Because...
I find a warmth and acceptance at Saint Paul's that draws me each and every time that I attend a service. Having been a member of six other Episcopal and or Anglican parishes in our family's travels over the years, I hope that I can share with others what has been given to me through my faith in Christ.                                                 - Anne Taylor Massie
