Looking Ahead
Choirs Begin New Season End of August
The Canterbury and Saint Paul's Choirs begin their new season at the end of August. The Canterbury Choir will have a lock-in at the church on Friday night through Saturday morning, 22 and 23 August. Both choirs have their first rehearsals on Wednesday, 27 August. The Canterbury Choir is for children in grades 3-9 and the Saint Paul's Choir is for high school sophomores through adults. Both choirs will sing weekly at the 11 a.m. Sunday morning service beginning on 7 September. Because Melissa Schultz, the Director of the St. Nicholas Choir (for children in pre-K through grade 2), has just had a baby that choir will begin as soon as Melissa is ready, probably late September or early October. For information about any of the parish's three choirs, please contact Keith Shafer, Director of Music, or by phone at 706-724-2485 x 215.
