Senior Warden's Report

Fellow Parishioners:

Our recent Vestry retreat was very productive.  I believe we addressed most of the issues facing our parish and the Episcopal Church in general.  One of the most important products of this planning effort was a determination of what this Vestry wants our parish to accomplish in the next twelve months. I thought it would be appropriate to share these aspirations with you even though we are in the very early stages of planning and developing action plans. As you can see from the list below, we have an ambitious agenda which will have to have substantial participation and involvement by our entire parish in order to be successful. Also, I should point out that the list is not in order of priority.

Intended Accomplishments:

  • Replace Chiller
  • More Youth Involvement in Worship
  • Know Our Members Better/Social Activities
  •  Increase Attendance
  • Real year-round stewardship
  • Develop Committee Charters
  • Expand Christian Ed. for adults
  • Staff AV System
  • Expand Outreach
  • Expand Use of Technology
  • Rearrange Reception Area
  • Take First Steps to Change Image
  • Continue to Develop Cornerstone
  • Develop Clear Staffing Structure and Job Descriptions

As you look over what we intend to accomplish in the coming year, select the initiative(s) that you would like to participate in and let us hear from you.  We're going to need a lot of help.

Blessings,

Monty
