Veterans' Ice Cream Social
Members of the Outreach Team visited the Veterans last Sunday and served them ice cream and cookies. Anita Tanner made 144 of her signature sugar cookies for them. All ice cream and cookies were eaten as they visited and listened to a guy play guitar and sing hits from the Vietnam era. The most touching moment was when a veteran in his wheelchair wanted to sing. He sang beautifully with his wife, daughter, and all females there teary eyed when he finished. Thanks to the Outreach program in our church, we visit the Vets on a regular basis. Watch the Weekly Headlines for an announcement of the next Veterans' Ice Cream Social near Fourth of July.

People of the Passion
Wednesdays During Lent, 11:00, Tyler Hall
On Wednesdays during this season of Lent there will be opportunity to gather at 11:00 a.m. for a study of the people of the passion. Plan to join us in Tyler Hall as we explore the people surrounding Jesus. Each class is an individual unit so come for one or all as your schedule allows. All are invited to attend the Noon Service in the Chapel following the class . |
People of the Passion for Families
Mother Kelsey has prepared a companion People of the Passion Lenten Study for families to use at home. Last week's lesson is included here. Each Sunday, handouts for this study will be sent home in the youth and children's Sunday School classes. |

Augusta Choral Society at Saint Paul's

The Augusta Choral Society (ACS) will present a concert of "Brass, Pipes and Drums" on Saturday, March 29th at 7:30 p.m. This concert will feature the 90 singers of the Augusta Choral Society, ten professional brass players, two percussionists and organist, Keith Shafer. The concert will include a variety of pieces ranging from Sch�tz to Mozart to Rutter and will include a piece written by William Dolen. Tickets for the concert are $25/adults and $10/students and active duty military. They may be purchased by calling the Augusta Choral Society office at 706-826-4713. We will follow our regular worship services on Palm Sunday: 7:45 a.m., 8:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 5:30 p.m.
Our 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services will begin on the Front Portico with the Liturgy of the Palms. 7:45 a.m. will gather at the Baptismal Font.
There will be no Christian Formation Classes on Palm Sunday. |
Easter Egg Hunt
Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held immediately following the 8:45 a.m. service Easter morning. Please bring 2 dozen stuffed eggs per child to the Children's Sunday School Room by April 13th.

Open Flower Sundays
The Flower Guild is scheduling altar flowers through July. There are several Sundays in June and July open for altar flowers. If you would like to sponsor the altar flowers in memory or in thanksgiving of someone special, please contact Lynn Mays or Clint Carroll. The minimum for two altar arrangements designed by the Flower Guild is $100. |

Parents of College Students
The Daughters of the King are beginning a new ministry to Saint Paul's parishioners attending college. Please send the church office for each of your children: name, college, birth date, and mailing address so that we can contact your son or daughter while at college. We plan to send them birthday cards, "just because" cards, notes, and perhaps a few goodies too. |
