Master's Table Soup Kitchen
Saturday, December 28, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 

The Master's Table Soup Kitchen serves a hot lunch to more than 325 hungry people every day, 365 days per year in downtown Augusta. Saint Paul's supports this ministry 6 times per year. Click here for more information about Master's Table.

A team from Saint Paul's is scheduled to serve Saturday,December 28,  8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Master's Table Soup Kitchen located at 702 Fenwick Street, Augusta. Volunteers are needed to help cook and serve the meal. First shift is preparation, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m., adults and EYC. Second shift is serving, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. welcomes all ages. A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols with the Saint Paul's  & Canterbury Choirs

Celtic Evening Prayer and Communion
 
 
 
On the First Sunday of Christmas, December 29th, the Canterbury and Saint Paul's Choir will combine, along with readers from the congregation, in A Celebration of Lessons and Carols at 11:00 a.m. The traditional nine lessons will be read, each followed by a carol or hymn. Join us along with your families and out-of-town guests in this beautiful celebration of Christmastide. Please note, there will be no 7:45 a.m. or 8:45 a.m. service on this day. We will hold the Celtic Evening Prayer and Communion Service at 5:30 p.m.
 
EYC  will not meet Sunday night.

The Parish Offices are closed today and will also be closed Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1 for the New Year's holiday. 
 
 
There will be no noon service on  Wednesday, January 1.
2013 Contribution Statements
2013 Contributions Statements will be in the Narthex no later than January 15, 2014. All contributions must be received by the church or postmarked before January 1, 2014 in order to be eligible for a 2013 income tax deduction. If you have questions, please contact Ann Marie Reckentine or by phone (706) 724-2485. Offering Envelopes for 2014 are available in the office.
Baptism Offered
Sunday, January 12th 
 
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is scheduled for the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, January 12th. If you would like to be included in this service, please contact the church office by Sunday, January 5th. The Rehearsal and Baptism Class for godparents and parents will be held on Sunday morning, January 12th, prior to the service at 10:15 a.m. in the Nave.

Tuesday Music Live
Tuesday, January 7, 12:00 noon, The Nave and River Room
America's largest luncheon concert series, Tuesday's Music Live, continues its 26th season with a free concert by Duo De Vista, on Tuesday, January 7th at 12:00 noon. Confirmation Classes Begin 
Sunday, January 12, 10:00 a.m.
Confirmation Classes for Adults and Youth will begin Sunday, January 12th, 10:00 a.m.- 10:45 a.m. Further details are available in the Winter issue of Saint Paul's Postings located in a link at the end of this email and in print the Narthex, or contact The Reverend Kelsey Hutto.
Acolyte Training 
Sunday, January 12, 12:00 noon, Tyler Hall and the Nave
Acolyte training is scheduled for Sunday, January 12th, following the 11:00 a.m. service. All acolytes and parents are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided. All those 3rd grade and higher are welcome to join the Acolyte Guild. Please contact Todd Shafer for more information.
Manna Pantry
Friday, January 24, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Tyler Hall
Saturday, January 25, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Tyler Hall
Manna Pantry will be held January 24th and 25th in Tyler Hall.  Families with children are welcome to join parishioners of all ages to help in this ministry.  Friday afternoon the food is delivered and unloaded from the truck, boxes are assembled, and food organized from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Saturday morning, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon recipients are registered, and food distributed.  For more information, please contact Anita Tanner

 

Annual Parish Meeting
Sunday, January 26, 4:00 p.m.
The 264th annual parish meeting will be held Sunday, January 26, at 4:00 p.m. and will be followed by a social hour and dinner. Details will follow. Please mark your calendars.
