Civic Engagement Opportunities & Events
Welcome to Princeton's weekly civic engagement e-newsletter for the 2013 Spring Term. This newsletter is designed to highlight upcoming Pace Center projects, events, and activities, as well as to provide a digest of civic engagement and volunteer opportunities available to the Princeton campus community. All are welcome! Students and community members will showcase their work, telling their stories through posters, videos, slide shows, musical and dance performances and more. Awards for civic engagement will be presented. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

12-1PM, Murray-Dodge 22. Join Dr. Ariyaratene, founder of the Sarvodaya Movement. Learn about his combined Buddhist and Ghandi-an response to the 50 years of poverty, civil war, and environmental degradation.  Sponsored by the ORL.

4/24 Leadership for Change: Mentorship and Transition Dinner
6-7PM, Campus Club Dining Room. Come discuss with other leaders how to navigate leadership transitions. Catered dinner provided. Space is limited, please RSVP here
 
4/25-4/28 Princeton Arts Weekend
Campus-wide. A showcase to celebrate the countless mediums in which students, alumni,faculty, staff and community members produce, create, and experience art. Find out more, including how to get involved, at the PAW website.
4/27 Hurricane Sandy Cleanup Trip  
7:30AM - 3:30PM NJ residents are still dealing with the storm's aftermath. This is the last trip for the semester.  Sign up here.  
4/28 Shirleypalooza: An Applause for President Shirley Tilghman 
4:30PM, Cannon Green. A musical and theatrical variety show to celebrate the presidency of Shirley Tilghman. Dinner will be available for those on the University meal plan.

5/8 We're Engaged!: A Celebration of Civic Engagement at Princeton
