CCISD: Snapshots is a photo newsletter that highlights events, activities and happenings across CCISD. 

Anyone can submit a photo for CCISD: Snapshots! Just remember the following:
  • CCISD policy and procedures require all students to have the proper CCISD photo release to appear in CCISD publications  
  • Not all photos submitted can or will be used in CCISD: Snapshots. The Office of Communications has final photo approval
  • Photos must be submitted in .jpg format

CCISD Students Shine at District Science Fair
The Clear Creek Independent School District is pleased to announce the winners of the 2014-2015 CCISD Science Fair at both the elementary and secondary level. More than 600 elementary and secondary projects were evaluated by volunteer judges from the community.Winners were announced during an award ceremony, sponsored by SAIC, on Tuesday, January 13. CLICK HERE to read more about all CCISD elementary, intermediate and high school science fair winners.
Young Artists Create Masterpieces for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
A reception was held this week to celebrate the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Student Art Exhibit. The exhibit, consisting of nearly 400 works of art from all grade levels in CCISD, was on display at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Gold Medal Award winners from CCISD will move on to the Reliant Center Hayloft Gallery and their artwork will be displayed at this year's Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Congratulations to all of our artists!

Seniors Hope to Follow in Alumni Footsteps

Seniors at Clear Horizons Early College High School (CHECHS) recently learned the ins-and-outs of college at an alumni panel. Thirty-two former CHECHS students, now enrolled in college, were on hand to answer questions about university life and encourage the graduating class of 2015 as they take the next step in their academic journey.

Freezin' for a Reason

The Clear Springs High School Student United Way and National Honor Society jumped into freezing water during Galveston's Polar Plunge. The annual event raises funds for Special Olympics.


 

The Bowling Club at Clear Brook High School also took the plunge, raising a total of $1,235. Great job!
