Students from Ross Elementary led the pledge.

 

Clear Brook High School Audio Visual Production students came in 22nd at the South by Southwest Film Festival for the short film, "Clich�". Students were also recognized for earning a UIL Young Filmmakers Award for their film, "The Ker Necklace."

 

Syamantak Payra of Westbrook Intermediate is headed to the National Spelling Bee on May 27.

 

Alex Rodriguez of Westbrook Intermediate finished 22nd in the 2014 National Geographic Bee Texas Finals.

 

Clear Creek Intermediate's Betty McCulloch was honored with the Texas Medical Association's Excellence in Education Award. Mrs. McCulloch is also the 2013 CCISD Secondary Teacher of the Year.

 

CCISD Superintendent Dr. Greg Smith nominated the CCISD School Board for Region 4 Honor Board.

 

Eleven CCISD students were recognized for their artwork in the annual Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo art contest. The art pieces of three CCISD artists were sold at auction for a total of $68,000.

 

Nineteen CCISD students were honored for their performance in the Scholastic Art & Writing contest.

CCISD Announces 2014 Campus Teachers of the Year 

 

 

The Clear Creek Independent School District is home to more than 2700 exceptional teachers. We are pleased to announce the 2014 Campus Teachers of the Year. "These teachers represent the best of CCISD," said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Greg Smith. "Their ability to engage students in lessons and help them make real world connections have earned them this important designation."

The 2014 Campus Teachers of the Year will be honored during a special luncheon hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Space Center, League City and Seabrook on May 19, 2014 at South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center. During the luncheon, the 2014 CCISD Elementary Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year will be announced.  Read More  �

CCISD Announces 2014 Principals of the Year
The Clear Creek Independent School District is pleased to announce the  2013-2014 Principals of the Year. Nominated by their peers as both campus and district leaders, Clear Brook High School's Michele Staley is the CCISD Secondary Principal of the Year and Clear Lake City Elementary Principal Jepsey Kimble is the CCISD Elementary Principal of the Year. The dynamic duo will be honored at a Board of Trustees meeting in August as well as by the Texas Education Agency, Region IV. Read More



Clear Springs Musical Sweeps Tommy Tune Awards! 

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Urinetown.  The Clear Springs High School Theater Department's production won 9 of 15 Tommy Tune Awards including Best Musical. "When Tommy Tune himself announced Clear Springs High School as Best Musical, I could only sit and smile as I watched the kids leap to their feet and realize their hard work had paid off on a night when the stars aligned just right at Theatre Under The Stars," said Clear Springs High School Theater Director Mark Stonebarger. "I am blessed to have a great team of directors in Kym Reeves, Rob Phillips, David Barker, and Colette Currie.  Our parents, faculty, staff, and administration - especially our Principal Gail Love and Assistant Principal Brooke Parker."

Groundbreaking Ceremony Set for Clear Lake High School Rebuild 

 



Past, present and even future Clear Lake High School Falcons will gather on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. to kick-off the rebuild of the high school. The event will include a Taste of Lake where student clubs will be selling food and beverages, a walk down memory lane for alumni to tour the school one last time, and the ceremonial kicking of the dirt. The Clear Creek Independent School District has set the dates for high school graduation ceremonies. The following graduation ceremonies will be held at Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2305 East Main in League City, Texas 77573.

Clear Brook High School: Thursday, June 5, 2014 ~ 7:30 p.m.


Clear Lake High School:
  Friday, June 6,
2014 ~ 7:30 p.m.

Clear Creek High School:  Saturday, June 7, 2014 ~ 9:00 a.m.

Clear Springs High School:
  Saturday, June 7, 2014 ~ 7:30 p.m.

Clear Falls High School:  Sunday, June 8, 2014 ~ 7:30 p.m.

The following graduation ceremonies will be held at the Carlisle Field House at Clear Creek High School, also located at 2305 East Main Street in League City, 77573.

Clear View High School: Saturday, June 7, 2014 ~ 2:00 p.m.

Clear Horizons Early College High School: Sunday, June 8, 2014 ~ 2:00 p.m.
