Top Bands at 2nd Annual East Coast Shag Classic Raise Funds to Combat Women's Cancer

 

Wrightsville Beach, N.C. ... Top beach music bands will converge on Valentine's Day weekend at Wrightsville Beach, February 14-17, for the 2nd Annual East Coast Shag Classic. The entire weekend of music and dance at Blockade Runner Beach Resort will provide funds for Women of Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women and their families battling cancer.

Entertainment begins on Thursday night, February 14, with Band of Oz and the Big Kahuna. This special evening is held in honor of cancer survivors and their families. The event includes a coastal cocktail affair, silent auction, and lavish dessert reception. Weekend lodging packages are available at www.blockade-runner.com.

Activities wind down on Sunday, Feb 17 with the Gospel Train hosted by Joey Warren and the Big Kahuna.

 

Proceeds benefit Women of Hope, a nonprofit serving women with cancer and their families.
