Since 1981

How long have you been on the AHP Board?

ALTC- 5 yrs

Why do you think being a CPhA member is important?

We need to unite for legislative reasons. We can also network at events, but most importantly, we all need to support our profession through membership.

What do you hope to achieve during your term on the AHP Board?

We are working on teaming with other LTC organizations to push pharmacy practice in LTC to the highest respectable position. On par with NP and physicians, pharmacists are key players on the interdisciplinary teams working on medication safety and adherence in LTC facilities.

Advocate on Behalf of LTC Pharmacists!
If you missed the Capitol Legislative Day in Sacramento, CPhA will be organizing a series of Regional Legislative Day Events across the state where Long-Term Care and Consultant Pharmacists will have the opportunity to hear from local state officials and advocate on behalf of the profession and patient access.

Earlybird discount rate is $39 which includes 2 hours of CE, coffee, lunch, State legislative updates and the chance to discuss pharmacy issues face-to-face with Legislative Representatives. The series of Regional Legislative Day events begin this Saturday, May 30th  and ends on Saturday, June 27th. For more information or to register online, please click here
