NVSR Picnic - September 25thHeadline

LaddieThe NVSR Annual Picnic is coming up in just a few days!  It's bigger and better than ever this year, and we're hoping for a beautiful sunny day.  (We managed fine last year in the rain, but we'd rather not have to do that again.)  We hope to see all of you there to share, show off, learn, visit and have fun.  All friendly dogs are welcome, too, so bring your Sheltie's friends.

Saturday, September 25, 2010
Noon to 4:00 pm

Here's just some of what you can expect:

Demonstrations in agility, grooming, massage, tracking, rally.

Silent Auction - look below for a few of the outstanding items donated - get your bids in early and often!

Sheltie Shop - the brand-new 2011 NVSR calendar will be there, along with new t-shirts, notecards, tumblers, grocery bags, and other great Sheltie items.

PawPrintFoster Corral - always so popular - we love to show off our beautiful foster dogs ready for adoption.  Perhaps YOU'RE interested?

PawPrintAdopter Parade - it gets longer and longer every year.

RennyRenny, age 2, is looking for non-stop fun with folks who love to play.  Renny would love a canine friend and a big fenced yard.  Check out his cool hair-do, too.

MadisonMadison, age 10, is a sweet, sweet girl that would love to have someone just spend time with her.  She would repay that lucky person with devotion and snuggles.  Madison loves a gentle walk every day.

ShadyShady, age 8, would love to be the center of attention as an only dog.  He's fine with cats, though.  Shady likes a gentle walk so he can investigate all the smells in the neighborhood.  He's a wonderful companion.

PeteyPetey, age 1, is another youngster full of energy and looking for fun.  He really enjoys other dogs and would be a good prospect for agility or other dog sports.
The 2011 Calendar is hot off the press!
