We hope you will join us in Chicago on Friday, July 31 for our annual full-day Women's Bar Leadership Summit. This year's theme will be Forging New Paths--Women, Careers & the Law. Food from the Bar - 2015
Spring is the time when many women's bar associations join in friendly competition with others in their legal communities to replenish the shelves of their local food banks. Let us know if your association is taking part in this important initiative. Meanwhile, get inspired by current campaigns in California and the District of Columbia, Need more ideas? Law Day - 2015: Magna Carta:
 Symbol of Freedom Under Law
Since 1958, bar associations and civic groups around the country have observed Law Day on May 1as a time to celebrate and learn more about the rule of law. This year's Law Day theme emphasizes the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta. The American Bar Association has assembled a wealth of planning materials and multimedia presentations to share with students and the wider community this Law Day. Click here for more details.
Women Lawyers in Cambridge and London
September 7-14, 2015
In celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, Oregon Women Lawyers has organized a trip to England for the week of Labor Day and you are invited! Highlights of the trip will include an escorted tour of "Legal London," including the historic Inns of Courts, with a luncheon in the Middle Temple. A full day of CLE programming, an escorted tour of the Suffolk wool towns and a reception with women solicitors and barristers are included. Click here for more information.
NCWBA Listserves
The NCWBA maintains three separate listserves. Presidents and Presidents-Elect of our member associations are eligible for our Presidents Circle listserve.  Executive Directors and those who take on primary administrative tasks for member organizations which do not have paid staff are eligible for our Executive Directors listserve. Anyone involved with women's bar associations as a leader or member may opt to join our NCWBA listserve on Yahoo Groups.  This is an interactive list which is a great resource for referral requests, job announcements and other matters of interest to women's bar associations. To join this list, send us an e-mail with your name and the e-mail which you wish to use, describing your involvement in a women's bar association. Let us know if you know of people who wish to be added to any of our lists.
