You Just Never Know What You're Going To Find

September
  Greetings!

The month of September brings children back to school. And for many parents of school-aged kids that's a welcomed sign. Keeping the little ones busy throughout the summer months is always a bit of a challenge. With school in session family routines are getting back to normal. So be mindful of children with backpacks as you drive to work.

We're not into the winter season yet but it doesn't stop some predicators of weather to make their opinions known. And expectations are calling for extreme cold in New England with above average icy conditions. So are meteorologists buying into it? Not sure if anyone can accurately predict our New England weather. Let's just get through summer and let winter take care of its self when it arrives.

In between our summer and winter, we can expect cooler temperatures which make it ideal for weekend outdoor activity like hiking and biking. Check out some of these trails in this month's newsletter.

The first four rubber manufacturing companies began in Naugatuck giving it the distinction as the Rubber City.

BIKING AND HIKING

With the weather becoming cooler, September is a great time to spend hiking some of the hundred miles of trails Connecticut has to offer. Lose yourself into the woods for a few hours taking in the natural beauty our state offers. From the sounds of a babbling brook to the rustling of leaves beginning its Autumn change, it's the perfect time to trade in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and take in a little nature. Whether you are at home or not, Aiello Smart Home is protecting your home 24/7 from unwanted water damage caused by leaking from any number of sources including appliances, faucets, condensation lines, leak or broken pipes.

Statistics have shown that you are six times more likely to experience water damage than fire damage and seven times more likely to experience water damage than a burglary. Burst pipes, leaking water heaters, or the slow, steady, hidden drip of leaky appliances can be a homeowner's nightmare.

It's an essential addition to your current home security system. Going well beyond alarms or notification, Aiello Smart Home allows the water to your home or business to be automatically turned off when unwanted water is detected. The time you save with automatic shut-off versus the time lost in responding to an alarm equals untold savings in possible water damage to your property.

And if you want to work off your meal, you can rent kayaks right in the center of town. Great fun for the whole family.
