MWA Welcomes IMAS refugees Join us this Saturday June 5th as we welcome IMAS refugees and try to assist their needs. The number of refugee families coming to Chicago is increasing every year. At our March event, Ahlam Mahmood spoke about her journey as a refugee herself. Those struggles are what prompted her to get involved here with the Chicago refugee families. Please join MWA as we welcome new refugees by helping them navigate through the immigrant experience. We will be the friendly face that welcomes them to their new life in the Chicago.
