As-Salaamu-Alaykum Dear MWA Member,
For the 350 women who attended this sold out event, we hope you
enjoyed yourselves. This celebration was planned with each of
you in mind. The
energy in the room was invigorating! We gave each other inspiration,
courage and empowerment. By sharing our stories of achievement and
contributions we learned from one another, collaborated, and made a
mental road map of how we can continue to make a positive impact in our
communities and in ourselves.
We thank our MWA 2010 Inspiring Women Awardees - Mary Ali, Tasneema
Ghazi and Ahlam Mahmood - who moved us with their motivational stories and practical words of
wisdom.
We also extend our gratitude to our sponsors who provided many services for the event from flowers to
photography, and funding for future MWA programming in philanthropy,
community service & personal development. Finally thank you to all our
volunteers and collaborative organizations who helped make this event a great
success.
In order
to continue to improve our planning efforts, we urge you to take a few minutes by
