Muslim Women's Alliance
MWA Thanks its Members for a Successful Ramadan Rush for Rewards Campaign

Upcoming Event: AAFS Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness Walk
Salaam Dear MWA Members,

Hope you all had a wonderful Eid! The blessed month of Ramadan has ended and with it the MWA Ramadan Rush for Rewards (RRR) also concluded with tremendous outcomes: MWA members logged in more than 600 hours of community service during the five
weeks of RRR. Members participated in hands-on service that not only benefited the recipients, but ultimately the events were rewarding for the volunteers as well.  MWA applauds all the women, men and children for their active participation. It was amazing to see so many members roll up their sleeves and get to work for the community! May you all spiritually benefit from your good deeds.

In order for MWA to evaluate the Ramadan Rush for Rewards Initiative please complete the following brief survey by Friday  October 2. Please click here to complete the survey. Your input is valuable to continue to help MWA provide quality programs.

MWA thanks all our members for their active participation. We continue to seek your expertise so that as Muslims we can collectively make a positive impact. Please email MWA with ways that you can contribute your talents to the organization.

With Respect,
Anisha Ismail Patel

In the early hours of September 12, about 40 MWA members met for suhoor before they set out for Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica on Chicago's south side.  Together with Parish members, MWA volunteers made and served breakfast to more than 200 homeless people.
