Thank you for making this a fabulous Summit!

This evening's Gala Celebration was a glittering success thanks to our sponsors, speakers, and thanks to you!

Brigadier General Tammy Smith
We had some empowering panels and workshops, leading up to tonight's fabulous Gala dinner!

Comedian Kate Clinton lead us through the evening's event with many laughs and a reminder of the safety and acceptance we all deserve in our offices and throughout our diverse industries.

Special guest speaker Brigadier General Tammy Smith, the first openly LGBT officer of flag rank in the U.S. Army, shared her experience ofsuccessfully rising through the ranks while remaining true to herself. Her resounding remarks illuminated the importance of each individual's presence at Summit and future equality efforts.

Addressing all attendees, sponsors, and Out & Equal volunteers and staff, Tammy said, "If I am able to stand here as a soldier and as my authentic self it is thanks to you... so don't stop, don't even slow down in creating equal workplaces. I am in your debt."

Sister Sledge, featuring Kathy Sledge had the crowd dancing before dinner! Suede and the Washington Gay Men's Chorus a cappella ensemble Potomac Fever brightened our evening!

Trip Report: Bring Summit to Your Colleagues

Although we wish everyone could experience the Out & Equal Workplace Summit in person, we know that is not always possible. Early next week Out & Equal will release our 2012 Workplace Summit Trip Report. This will contain all the highlights and important messages from the event that you'll want to share with your company. Keep an eye on your inbox for the Trip Report.
Save the Date for 2013!

Each year Out & Equal holds the Annual Workplace Summit in a different city, and each year more business professionals and more companies join us in the discussion on LGBT rights. Let's plan to be together as we move forward in our struggle for LGBT workplace equality.

Join us in Minneapolis, Minnesota, October 28 - 31, 2013!
