Municipal Court is open late today so you can pay your fines
Tickets that are ignored turn into warrants. If you have fines that you have not paid to the City of Burleson's Municipal Court, your time is running out. Arrests will be made and unpaid fines will be collected during the Great Texas Warrant Roundup in March.
The focus is on Class C misdemeanor warrants, the majority of which are traffic-related offenses. Although the focus is on Class C warrants, higher charge warrants may also be served. If you don't know if you have an outstanding warrant, call the Burleson Municipal Court warrant department at 817-426-9298, or the court in which you received a citation.
The municipal court staff extended the court's hours of operation this month. Regular business hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 pm., and Wednesday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Today, Feb. 26, the court will be open late, 8 a.m.-7 p.m., to give people who have warrants time to come in and take care of them before the warrant roundup. The court is located inside the Burleson sub courthouse at 247 Elk Dr., Room 114 (across from Burleson High School). Find out how you can pay your outstanding warrants.
